Spending limits for a family budget
A limit helps the family agree on a spending boundary for a specific category and period before the money is spent.
Category, amount and duration
Select a category, maximum amount and number of days. The limit applies to the whole family and counts member expenses during the selected period.
Protection against overspending
If a new expense would exceed an active limit, Simkassa warns the user and does not save the transaction. To add it, the corresponding limit must first be changed or removed.
Shared rules
All family members use the same categories and budget records. This lets you evaluate the family's total spending on groceries, transport, entertainment or another category instead of looking at one purchase only.
A limit does not replace a family decision
Simkassa enforces the configured rule, while the family decides the amount and period. Review statistics and adjust limits to match real needs.
